Two nights at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, NYC
Tel Aviv-born guitarist Yotam Silberstein had already won the coveted “Israeli Jazz Player of The Year” title at the age of 21. Soon after, he performed at Italy’s renowned Umbria Jazz Festival, released a critically acclaimed debut album, and set out on an extensive tour of Europe and the Middle East. Upon receiving a scholarship to attend The New School in 2005, Silberstein moved to New York City, and he has since performed with such luminaries as James Moody, The Heath Brothers, Roy Hargrove, Christian McBride, and Paquito D’Rivera. It’s notoriously challenging for a jazz guitarist to climb the ranks like Silberstein, and it speaks to the high and multifaceted level of his artistry that his acclaim continues to grow. Don’t miss his anticipated return to Dizzy’s Club for his new album release with bassist extraordinaire John Patitucci, accordionist Vitor Goncalves, drummer Daniel Dor, and pianists Glenn Zaleski and Andre Mehmari.
