One night only at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, NYC
Celebrate his 61st birthday with pianist Mike LeDonne, bassist Ron Carter, and drummer Joe Farnsworth.
“Hearing Mike LeDonne was a startling revelation. I was knocked out.” – Milt Jackson
“Mike LeDonne is one of the most talented pianists of this particular era. He’s incredible.” – Oscar Peterson
Pianist and organist Mike LeDonne made his recording debut in 1988, and he’s still managed to work with a number of the all-time jazz greats: Benny Goodman, Sonny Rollins, Milt Jackson, Dizzy Gillespie, Benny Golson, and more. LeDonne performs around the world as both a sideman and a bandleader, and his Groover Quartet has been a New York City mainstay for the past 14 years. It’s a recipe for success: hard-swinging, groove-focused jazz featuring virtuoso soloists and that distinctive Hammond B-3 organ sound and vibe.
