Alexis Cole

Jazz vocalist Alexis Cole is celebrated internationally for her warm, rich tone and impeccable phrasing. Her extensive discography comprises collaborations with stellar artists like Fred Hersch, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Don Braden.  Beyond performance, Cole is dedicated to jazz education, having held teaching positions at SUNY Purchase and William Paterson University, and founding JazzVoice.com, an online educational community for jazz singers.  Her musical inspirations are deeply rooted in her family, her extensive recording and performing career, and her service in the Army with West Point’s Jazz Knights. Her breadth and depth as a jazz performer is evident in her repertoire, including her fresh interpretation of Paul Winter’s “Common Ground,” where she reflects on her global musical family and the unifying power of music.
