Live – Noah Preminger (Tour)

Noah Preminger On Tour in Europe

Jazz After Hours listeners in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Luxembourg will have several opportunities this spring to see Noah Preminger

Acclaimed saxophonist Noah Preminger celebrates his gorgeous new recording Ballads with a week-long European album release tour, May 3 – 10. Joining him are pianist Julian Shore, bassist Phil Donkin, and drummer Leif Berger.

Preminger’s Ballads record follows in the tradition of John Coltrane’s 1963 classic Ballads, an album that showcased how one of jazz history’s most adventurous artists could reveal his softer, more lyrical side without sacrificing inventiveness or exploration. Preminger’s Ballads is an entrancing collection of original compositions, curated standards and one radio hit from outside the jazz realm.
