2022 NEA JAZZ MASTERS TRIBUTE CONCERT

On Thursday, March 31 at 7:30PM PT (10:30PM ET), the National Endowment for the Arts, in collaboration with SFJAZZ, will honor the 2022 NEA Jazz Masters – Stanley ClarkeDonald Harrison, Jr.Billy Hart, and Cassandra Wilson. The concert will kick off a year-long celebration of the 40th anniversary of the program with a free concert and online broadcast from the SFJAZZ Center.

This free and open to the public concert event will be hosted by 2018 NEA Jazz Master Dianne Reeves, and include performances by 2022 honorees Stanley Clarke, Billy Hart, and Donald Harrison, Jr., as well as Jeremiah CollierJoe DysonEthan IversonDan KaufmanSalar NaderNoriatsu NaraokaRuslan SirotaBen Street, and Mark Turner, as well as the SFJAZZ Collective: Matt BrewerEtienne CharlesMartin Luther McCoyGretchen ParlatoChris PotterDavid SanchezKendrick ScottEdward Simon, and Warren Wolf, plus Skylar Tang, a 16-year-old trumpeter and a member of the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars.

The evening will also include remarks by NEA Chair Dr. Maria Rosario Jackson and Founder and Executive Artistic Director of SFJAZZRandall Kline.
